Sunstone RapidFit
The perfect solution for awkwardly shaped rooms, SunStone’s RapidFit System allows you to wriggle the heating cable around all permanent objects and get into places a rectangular heating mat cannot.
Sunstone RapidFit’s innovative fixing method provides a much
faster installation method than traditional loose wire systems.
It comprises of an ultra tacky double-sided tape which secures
the heating cable in place at the required spacing and a tough
fibreglass tape which is placed over the cable which prevents the
cable being snagged.
Specifically designed for use under stone and ceramic tiles,
Sunstone RapidFit Loose Wire System sits within the layer of
flexible tile adhesive below the tile or stone floor finish.
Alternatively, the system can be installed within a minimum 10mm
layer of self-levelling compound to allow for other underfloor
heating compatible floor finishes.
The heat output of the system can vary depending on your needs.
A standard 80mm spacing between cable runs will provide
150W/m² however the spacing can be adjusted to suit your
requirements between 100W/m² to 200W/m².
